We were very fortunate to interview Renna Chandra, president of Combat Blindness International (CBI). CBI was started in 1984 by Suresh Chandra with a focus on giving back to the underserved. They started their work in India and have expanded to seventeen countries and four continents. They focus on cataract surgeries in low income areas, screen children for eyeglasses, and train young women in India to become eye technicians ENABLING them to become financially independent.
